Sobre el libro
The Jungle Book is an 1894 collection of stories by the English author Rudyard Kipling, whose principal character is Mowgli, a boy raised in the jungle by wolves. Set largely in an Indian forest, the stories explore themes of abandonment and fostering, and of law and freedom, portraying human archetypes in animal form. The book has remained popular through many adaptations, and critics have admired the power of Kipling's storytelling.
