Terms of Service
LightNovelLingo (“we”, the “Service”, lightnovellingo.com) is a reading tool for language learners. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
The Service shows texts with word-by-word glosses and translations, many of them generated by AI language models. AI output can contain mistakes; use it as a learning aid, not as an authoritative translation.
LightNovelLingo is an independent product. It is built on third-party language models (currently DeepSeek and Zhipu GLM) and is not affiliated with or endorsed by their creators. The Service only works with text: it does not generate images, audio or video.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity under your account. One person may not create multiple accounts to collect free tokens. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service.
3. Tokens and payments
Tokens are prepaid credits used for AI generation inside the Service. Free tokens are granted at sign-up and as daily bonuses and may change. Purchased tokens are a one-time payment, do not expire, are tied to your account, cannot be transferred, and have no cash value outside the Service. Orders are processed by Creem, our reseller and Merchant of Record, which handles payment, invoicing and sales tax. Refunds follow our refund policy.
4. Your content
You may import only texts you have the right to use. You keep your rights in what you import; you allow us to process it to provide the Service (including sending it to AI model providers). If you publish a version to the shared library, you confirm the source text is public domain or yours, and you allow other readers to read it. We remove content after valid copyright complaints sent to the contact address below.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, overload or attack the Service, or resell access to it. You may not import, generate or publish:
- sexually explicit or sexually suggestive content, or any content involving minors in a sexual context;
- content that promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, hatred or harassment;
- texts you do not have the right to use, such as pirated copies of copyrighted books;
- personal data of others without their consent.
Library versions published by readers pass an automatic quality check, and anyone can report a book; we remove content that breaks these rules and may suspend the account responsible.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service running but do not guarantee it is always available or error-free. We may change features, prices of future purchases, or these terms; material changes are announced on the site. Tokens you have already bought keep their value.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. If we close your account for reasons other than a breach of these terms, we refund unused purchased tokens.

2. 账号
请妥善保管密码，你对账号下的操作负责。不得一人注册多个账号领取免费额度；滥用服务的账号可能被停用。
3. 额度与付款
额度是用于站内 AI 生成的预付点数。免费额度在注册和每日签到时发放，规则可能调整。购买的额度为一次性付款、不过期、绑定账号、不可转让、不能兑换现金。订单由名义卖家 Creem 处理付款、发票和税费。退款见退款政策。
4. 你的内容
只导入你有权使用的文本。你保留导入内容的权利，并允许我们为提供服务而处理它（包括发送给 AI 模型服务商）。公开到书库的版本，你需确认原文属于公有领域或归你所有。收到有效的版权投诉后，我们会下线相关内容。
5. 使用规范
不得用于违法、侵权、攻击或压垮服务、转售访问权。不得导入、生成或公开：色情或性暗示内容，以及任何涉及未成年人的性内容；宣扬暴力、恐怖主义、自残、仇恨或骚扰的内容；你无权使用的文本，例如盗版的受版权保护书籍；未经同意的他人个人信息。读者公开到书库的版本会经过自动质检，任何人都可以举报；违反规范的内容会被下线，相关账号可能被停用。
6. 可用性与变更
我们尽力保持服务稳定，但不保证始终可用、没有错误。功能、今后购买的价格和本条款可能调整，重大变更会在网站公告；已购买的额度价值不变。
7. 责任
在法律允许范围内，服务按现状提供；我们对任何索赔的总责任以你在索赔前 12 个月内支付给我们的金额为限。
8. 终止
你可以随时停止使用并要求删除账号。若我们非因你违反条款而关闭你的账号，会退还未使用的已购额度。
